EASTER MESSAGE
The recent fires at Tathra have brought great destruction to properties and immense trauma to this close coastal community in our Archdiocese.
It reminds us all that we are in a passing world as pilgrims on a journey to the Father’s heavenly home.
This Easter time can help us all re-focus on the things that will never end.
In Jesus Christ, our pilgrim leader, “we have this hope, and sure and steadfast anchor of the soul.” (Hebrew 6/19)
As we pray for the fragile township of Tathra, we place all our wounded fragilities in the Risen Wounds
of our Saviour, Jesus -our Risen Lord -and the true compass in our distracted world.

부활 메시지
최근 우리 교구내 해안가 공동체가 있는 Tathra에 큰 화재가 있었습니다. 이 사고는 공동체에 커다란 재산 피해와 트라우마(정신 외상)를 남겼습니다.
이는 우리가 지나가는 세상 안에서 하늘나라 아버지의 집으로 향하는 순례자임을 깨닫게 합니다.
부활시기는 우리가 영원한 순례에로 다시금 집중할 수 있도록 도와줍니다.
그리스도 예수님은 우리 순례의 인도자입니다. 우리는 영혼의 닻과 같이 안전하고 견고한 희망을 가지고 있습니다.(히브 6,19)
힘겨워하고 있는 Tathra 주민들을 위한 기도는, 부활하신 우리 구세주 안에 우리의 모든 상처받은 약함을 내어 드리는 것입니다. 예수님은 우리의 부활하신 주님이시며, 어지러운 세상에 확실한 나침판이십니다.
